FreeridingFreeriders looking for some cool off-piste to ride will be pleasantly surprised, with some great powder riding to be had well away from the chicken sticks in bad suits. Check out the areas on the Tuc De Dossal that are reached by chair lift, or hit the stuff up at La Bonaiqua. Advanced riders are the ones who will be most disappointed, apart from two black graded runs there's not a great deal of testing stuff.
FreestylersFreestylers have a rather limited amount of good natural freestyle terrain, but there is the odd good hit to get air from, plus a few drop offs to try out. The half-pipe is off the Mirador chair, but you may find it an advantage to borrow a shovel from the lift hut to do a bit of pipe shaping yourself, the resort doesn't look after itself.
PistesCarvers take over on the slopes here with terrain that is ideal for hard alpine riding. The resort is mainly suited to intermediates with some nice red runs but not many expert trails. For the less talented edge merchants, there are some easy blue runs.
BeginnersBeginners will take kindly to this place as this is a good resort to start out on and progress steadily with. Much of the terrain is easily reached by chair lifts and if you don't like Pomas or T-Bars then you'll be happy to know that you can get around the whole area without having to use them.
