The Lecht is by far the smallest resort in Scotland, however, this is also one of the friendliest and quite simply the best beginner's resort. This value for money area, only has a handful of runs that rise up from the car park allowing for good easy access by foot to the well maintained novice runs. This is not a place for those who want long testing steeps, (there are none) but being a place with a cool attitude towards snowboarding and a genuine and welcoming feel to it, its still okay, if only for an hour or two.
