Jiminy Peak

Rated 4 out of 10 This is small resort located in Massachusetts in the Adirondacks mountain range about an hours drive from Albany NY. I learnt to snowboard here, so that should tell you that its a good place for beginners to develop, with some soft intermediate runs ideal for some lazy cruising. Although for the more advanced rider it offers some challenging runs away from the main run down the mountain. It can be a frustrating place for boarders since there are some flat straights around the peak to negotiate to get to the better runs. On the plus side its really friendly and only really gets busy towards the evenings (some areas lit for night action) and weekends when locals come for some snow action.
