Bridger Bowl Ski Area, USA
Introduction
When people think about snowboarding in Montana they usually picture Big Sky or Big Mountain, but there is another resort that also starts with a "B" and is just as good: Bridger Bowl. Located near the funky college town of Bozeman, Bridger Bowl is an undiscovered gem. This small-medium sized resort can be a powder-hounds dream....during the 03/04 winter season Bridger got puked on, receiving over 100 inches in 3 days...that's about 2.5 metres in 3 days! Have you heard the expression "bring your snorkel"? Well, people were actually using them when they were riding the snow was that deep.
If you would like a day off the board drive the 90 miles down to the famous Yellowstone National Park to checkout Old Faithful Geiser and the buffalo! They have recently been granted permission to expand nto Slushmans and Bradley’s meadow which flank the resort, this will eventually open up 611 acres of new terrain.New for season
05/06: small terrain park planned. Plans to open 611 acres of backcountry - but not this year - booooooo.
