TTR6* Air & Style Innsbruck - Tirol 2012

Last years Billabong Air & Style Innsbruck-Tirol 2011 saw Mark McMorris from Canada take his first Air & Style win. In the 4 man Super Final in front of 11,000 spectators at the soldout Bergisel Stadium he conquered first place with a Cab 1260 Double Cork and 94 points over Peetu Piroiinen (2nd) and Austrian Werner Stock (3rd) and surprise finalist Nils Arvidsson (4th).

Andrew Hourmont, founder of the Air & Style: „It is hard to believe but the riders pushed the riding level even further compared to last year and also the Air & Style in Beijing. Once again snowboarding history was written at the Air & Style. Thanks to the riders, the bands and the crowd for a thrilling evening.“

Winner of both the Air & Style Beijing 2010 and last year´s X-Games, Sebastien Toutant (CAN) was beaten in the first round by Sage Kotsenburg (USA), who stomped the first ever Cab 1440 Double Cork in a contest.

The enthusiastic fans had a snowboard fest with electric Air & Style atmosphere with music from top DJs and live acts from Pennywise and Jan Delay.

Toutant and Anderson take 2012 US Open slopestyle
The slopestyle finals at the 30th anniversary of the US Open are now history, with Jamie Anderson (USA) and Sebastien Toutant (CAN) claiming all three major titles on the line today, including the 2012 US Open Slopestyle title (worth $25,000), the 2012 Burton Global Open Series Slopestyle Championship title (worth $25,000) and the TTR Slopestyle World Tour Championship title -11Mar12
White and Hight win 2012 US Open halfpipe comps
Shaun White (USA) and Elena Hight (USA) won the 30th annual Burton US Open halfpipe competition today, taking home $25,000 each and one of the most coveted titles in snowboarding -11Mar12
