Without your own transport access to the base is dependant on either hitching (relatively easy) or if you're staying in Chillan, taking the early bus.
Accomodation
With the nearest 'town' being 50 miles away the resort has developed a complex of hotel and condo's below the base, mainly catering for affluent Chilean and visiting westerner. This accommodation is far out of reach of the average boarders pocket making finding somewhere to sleep nearby a problem. Four bed apartments ($25 per-person) can be rented at Las Tranoas 10 km from the base.
