Vars sits in a valley surrounded on 2 sides by some pretty decent terrain, and linking with Risoul provides 180km of pistes. The runs over on the Peyner mountain are a mix of open and gladed runs, in Vars its much more open terrain and head off the back of the resort brings you into Risoul.
