There are some clubs and bars, but the nightlife has a peculiar Russian way to it, which means a lot of vodka and funny music.
Abzakovo base is very close to the mountain and it costs about 300 R ($11) per night if you stay in a basic shared room, and 750 R ($25) if you need a better quality private accommodation. There are also some cottages for rent and a hotel all quite close to the mountain. You might get a free room if you just show up, but it's better to contact the resort to book beforehand. There are also some hotels in town and a good choice of more comfortable accommodation in the nearby Bannoe resort, which is 25 km away.READ NEXT: Mountain statistics
