The swiss villages of Val d'Illiez, Les Crosets and Champoussin form a commune within the Portes Du Soleil, and as such they are jointly governed by a local council. Whilst Val d'Illiez is not directly next to the slopes of the Portes Du Soleil, you'll find both Les Crosets and Champoussin are, with Champoussin offering true ski-in ski-out.
