Disappoinment so far for the Brits at WSC2012

Billy Morgan, Jamie Nicholls and Aimee Fuller all out of the WSC 2012 event.
The bad news for British riders at this years World Snowboard Championships continues to get worse as Billy Morgan fails to progress. Jamie Nicholls also went out in qualifying.
Add to that the sad news that Aimee Fuller had to pull out with injury means meant most of the British hopefulls are now out of the event.
Aimee Fuller tweeted "No world champs for me this year body has taken a beating . Home to rest for a few days then back on it! Good luck to all the girls today x"
Billy Morgan said of his performance "Didn't land my run in the 2nd qualifiers. I'm sorry UK"
All three riders were confident going into the event so it is a shame not to see any Brit riders finishing higher. We will continue to update you on the results for the remainder of the event.

The World Snowboarding Championships is in full swing in Oslo, Norway where the quarterpipe event went off at the Holmenkollen Ski Jump stadium last night.

The World Snowboarding Championships halfpipe finals went down today at Oslo Winterpark where Iouri Podladtchikov (SUI) and Kelly Clark (USA) were officially crowned the 2012 Halfpipe World Champions.

The final day of the inaugural TTR 6Star World Snowboarding Championships played host to an amazing competition where Chas Guldemond (USA) and Spencer O’Brien (CAN) earned their 2012 Slopestyle World Champion titles.

The inaugural 2012 World Snowboarding Championships set to take place February 11-19, 2012 in Oslo, Norway at the Tryvann Vinterpark resort arena.
