Flaine is not a massive happening village, nor is it the most expensive. But it is hell on earth in terms of the way it is presented as a holiday camp on a mountain. The many Brits that have come here over the years have done a good job of turning it into a tacky hole.
Nightlife
Evenings are noisy with Brits and lots of apres-ski shenanigans.
Accomodation
Lodging is basic. Apartments are the main type of accommodation, with most either next to the slopes, or within a short walk.
