La Rosiere, France

Introduction

On its own, La Rosiere is a tiny outpost, with an even balance of terrain that any rider worth their salt will have licked in a day or two. However, as La Rosiere crosses the border with Italy and is lift linked to La Thuile, the 80+ miles poses a different question. Add the 900+ miles of the Aosta Valley, and suddenly we are into a whole new ball game, which will take the best of the best years to conquer.

At the café on the run towards Italy they serve the best hot chocolate I have ever tasted! I think it might be just melted chocolate
