World Snowboard Guide 11th edition

Solitude Mountain Resort, USA

Introduction

Solitude is a nice change of pace because it does not seem to attract hoards of people like the other Salt Lake resorts, plus the mountain kicks ass! There is also a great variety of terrain and a way of spreading out the crowds so that the lines in any one area do not get too long. The attitude is low key and the regulars are super friendly.

New for season

05/06: Moonbeam Chairlift replaces the current lift and will be positioned higher than is current. New day lodge position next to the Moonbeam Center.
04/05: small family terrain park
