The Canyons, USA
Introduction
The Canyons is Utah’s newest resort and one of the largest with over 3625 acres of fantastic terrain to check out that makes this part of the Rockies a pure dream. Newest Canyons may be, but in fact this place has been around for quite some time but under another name, that of Park West.
However, that’s neither here nor there, what this place is about is the future. This massive mountain, which is covered in trees from top to bottom, is constantly expanding by opening new areas all the time and upgrading base facilities year on year off. Indeed Canyons has big ambitions and plans to one day be the biggest resort in the US. And when you see what they have achieved so far, perhaps it could happen.
But for now this is a mountain that has everything to turn the aspiring freestyle junkie into a pro air head, or a freeride grommet into a mountain guru. You have deep gullies, massive powder bowls and natural hits galore wherever you go.
