FWQ 4* La Clusaz Radikal Mountain
The event opens the season for the Freeride World Tour (FWT), and is the first stage in the Freeride World Qualifier 4* events. Participants have an opportunity to gain entry into the main competition. La Clusaz will open up the different faces of its snow covered massifs to the world’s best riders.

Open Session
New this year, the open session is exactly that, a race open to all to enable the best amateurs riders to qualify for the La Clusaz Radikal Mountain race. An amazing opportunity for anyone and everyone to enter into the very closed circuit of the FWQ. The 3 best male skiers, the best female skier, the first 2 male snowboarders and the first female snowboarder will obtain their entry into the qualifying round in La Clusaz.

This very special gathering is not just important to the free riders, sports lovers and spectators also flock to La Clusaz Radikal Mountain. Throughout the day, famous name brands exclusively reveal their new products in The Partner Village close to the race locations, which are kept secret until the day before the event.

For the 2013 season all FWQ riders will be able to register online on the FWT website for all FWQ events.
According to seeding lists and number of starting spots per event, riders will receive a confirmation email that they are selected or not for the event they registered for. They will have then 4 open days to complete payment in order to secure their spot. Should a rider fail to complete his registration (payment) within the 4 open days, he will lose his spot. The next rider on the seeding list, who tried to register, will automatically receive an email that he has 4 open days to complete registration.
N.B: FWQ events organizing an open before the FWQ event will manage the Open registration on by themselves.
