RideShakedown, Snoqualmie 2010
The RIDE Shakedown, held at Mont-Saint-Sauveur, Quebec, during the past eight winters, is one of the snowboard industry’s most exciting and anticipated competitions, drawing the biggest names in snowboarding and more than 20,000 fans to the two-day festival. The inaugural U.S. edition of the RIDE Shakedown big air and rail competition will be held in the Cascade Mountains in front of Summit at Snoqualmie located 45 miles east of Seattle. It will be followed April 2-3 in Quebec with the 9th Canadian edition of the event.
“We are obviously very proud to offer the American public such a unique snowboard experience,” said Patryck Bernier, co-founder of Dizzle Entertainment and organizer of the RIDE Shakedown. “Due to the previous success and unique format of the event, we’re expecting to draw thousands of winter sports fans from Portland to Vancouver, B.C., and especially Seattle, to the Summit.”
