The highly acclaimed and long-established BRITS is the original weeklong winter festival. Now in its 25th year, the BRITS attracts thousands of snow fanatics, novices and the inbetweeners alike to Europe's premiere freestyle resort for a full-bore week of snow, music, dressing up and general debauchery…
 
The Brits return to Tignes for a week of competitions and parties. Featuring  Slopestyle, Boarder X and Halfpipe The Britis is guaranteed to be one of the most important weeks in the British snowboarding calendar and here are the events to look out for:

The Slopestyle is the event everybody want to win and this year will be no different!

Bangers & Cash

The popular Jib Event returns and you can catch all the snowboard action on

Bangers & Cash is a brand rail-focused jam event, equal to the Championship disciplines but with a complete departure from the structure and tension of competitive formats.
 
Run as an open jam, judges will focus on successive designated zones, qualifying four women and eight men through to the final and awrding them a £50 on the spot cash in the process.  To ensure everyone gets their fill, there will be no elimination process, as all riders shred through the course up until the chosen few battle it out for the top spot. 
 
The overall winner will get £1000 cash plus £450 worth of prizes… BOOM!
 
Bangers & Cash medalists will walk away with the following prizes:
 
 
 
1st Overall = £1000
1st (Men & Women) = iON Air Pro Camera, Skullcandy Aviator Headphones, Penny Skateboard
2nd (Men & Women) = Skullcandy Navigator Headphones, Penny Skateboard
3rd (Men & Women) = Skullcandy UpRock Headphones, Penny Skateboard
Top 8 Men / 4 Top Women finalists receive £50 each - Cash for Bangers!
 
 
Additionally, the top woman will receive with a week's stay at PRG Ski's chalet in Morzine.
