After 9 wildly successful editions, World Snowboard Day is going all out to celebrate the upcoming tenth edition by calling upon no less than 3 world-renowned riders to represent the event. Following in the footsteps of Anne-Flore Marxer, Xavier de le Rue, and Régis Rolland, for 2015, Rob Kingwill, Gian Simmen, and Wang Lei will join the adventure!
For the 10th edition, the World Snowboard Day organizing team wanted to showcase the multicultural aspect of the snowboarding community by offering even greater visibility to the three continents
who have contributed to the project’s success since the very beginning: Freerider Rob Kingwill enthusiastically agreed to represent the Americas, where the number of events has increased each and every year. Olympic Halfpipe gold medalist Gian Simmen represents Europe, and continues to be actively involved in the growth of snowboarding.
A snowboarding legend and the sport’s pioneer in China, WANG Lei represents Asia, and works hard day-in and day-out to grow our favorite board sport on the world’s largest continent
