Kaprun, Austria

Introduction

Winter or summer, Kaprun cuts it big style. The ride area is located on one of Austria's best glaciers, the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier, which reaches an altitude of 3,203 metres making it a perfect place to ride. Being a glacier resort, you can ride here all year and no matter which month you visit, riders of all levels will find something to shred. It has to be said however, that much of what is here (or at nearby Zell am See), is best suited to intermediate freeriders and piste lovers.
