Flying
Fly to Stockholm and then inland to Ostersund airport (95km away) BMI fly London Ostersund once a week on a Sunday. Transfer 1 hour.
By bus/coach
Ski bus runs from Duved to Åre Björnen.
By train
Train services are possible direct to Are from Stockholm which takes around 10 hours. Night trains Friday night and back to stockholm Sunday late afternoon.
By car
Drive via Stockholm, take the E4 north to Gavle and then to Bergby at which point you head north west along the E14 via Ostersund to Are. (approx 7hrs)

There is a floodlight system covering two of the best pistes in Åre, Gästrappet and Lundsrappet (serviced by the Olympia lift). The visibility is actually better in the floodlight than in natural daylight. There is also night boarding off of VM8 chair and other pistes. (7 pistes total)
