Best places to go snowboarding in Canada

#1. Whistler/Blackcomb, Canada

Major riding for all styles and all levels, especially backcountry and amazing park and pipes.But take note: lift queues can be very long, especially at Easter and Christmas. Avoid major holidays if an option and Sundays are quieter than Saturdays, especially on Blackcomb. Great summer riding on Blackcomb Glacier.

Excellent freeriding on crowd-free slopes, with great terrain for all levels. Local facilities are very basic but good. Night life is tame but okay.

Excellent open bowl freeriding on crowd free slopes and a mountain with a good annual snow record. Good for beginners and ideal for natural freestlye riding.

Good Family Resort Kimberley is good resort that will suit all levels of riders especially beginners with lots of easy to handle green runs. Excellent friendly local services

#6. Kicking Horse, Canada

Think you're a good rider? Come to Kicking Horse and get your ass kicked! Forget the trail map and your traditional way of assessing a resort by number of runs etc - this hill has 85 chutes alone and almost the entire area of the upper bowls is freeride terrain.
