Morzine
Village-resorts are often associated with small ski areas, but Morzine is the exception that proves the rule with its link into the 650 km of pistes in the Portes du Soleil. Its central position within the area, its situation at the foot of the slopes, and the ease of access, (20 km from the motorway and 75 minutes from Geneva airport) make Morzine a popular destination.

The Chamossière sector: the pure pleasure of skiing
Chamossière is worthy of every superlative: it is the highest point in the Morzine sector at 2002 meters of altitude, has the longest run in the area with 1751m, and a chairlift with a maximum gradient of 105° at the start… But these figures cannot convey the full array of emotions that this exceptional sector will arouse.
First of all, there is the wild, unspoilt side as this isolated chairlift links 2 valleys that are otherwise free of lifts. Only 2 ski runs, a black and a red, wind their way down the sides of the mountain.
Then there is the panorama: a 360° view over the Alps, including Mont Blanc!
But above all, there is the Arbis red run, a route in the heart of nature with an undulating profile where you can let yourself get carried away by the differing speeds of the varying gradients, before finishing on a gentle glide through the forest.
Childrens’ Areas: fun and varied
Some places are unforgettable, including where you first learned to ski. In Morzine there are several different areas that make learning to ski fun:
