A reason to miss the Ischgl opening this season
Everyone's favourite singer to hate, James Blunt, will be performing at the 2014-15 season opening at Ischgl in Austria on Saturday 29 November
Entry to the concert arena on Saturday 29th November is free with a valid skipass (€60 for the day of the concert and €88 for two days).
The folk-rock singer will launch the concert on ukulele and piano with new hits such as Postcards and Bonfire Heart and the crowd will be hoping he croons his most well-known hit You’re Beautiful, so they can sing along, and the rest of us hoping for a power cut.

Ischgl’s winter season opens on Thursday 27 November and will run until Sunday 3 May 2015. This season skiers and boarders are being treated to yet another new state-of-the-art ski lift in the Silvretta Ski Arena, following on from the opening of the Piz Val Gronda cablecar last season, giving access to 100kms of freeride. The replacement Pardatschgrat lift is nearing completion and will be operational for the November opening.
