The 6Star Nike 6.0 Air & Style Munich, Germany is set to go off this Saturday, February 12th, 2011 at the Olympic Stadium, with 16 invited professional snowboarders ready to battle it out in the dramatic head-to-head format, which has become a signature of the Air & Style events. The unique format encourages riders to push themselves making for a heated competition for a slice of the 75,000 € prize purse, the coveted "Air & Style Ring of Glory” and a maximum of 1000 TTR world ranking points. This is the third and final Air & Style event of the season, all of which are 6Star events on the Swatch TTR World Tour.
With five riders in the current Top 10 of the TTR World Ranking set to hit the massive straight iump at the Nike 6.0 Air & Style Munich, it will be a game changing result since there is only one more 6Star event, The Oakley Arctic Challenge, before the 6Star Burton US Open, where the Swatch TTR Tour Champions will be crowned. Peetu Piiroinen (FIN) is sitting comfortably in the tour lead after placing second at last weekend's Billabong Air & Style Innsbruck - Tirol and, with a solid result in Munich, has a good shot at taking his third TTR Tour Champion title. He will, however, need to contend with the likes of current World No. 4, Seppe Smits (BEL), and World No. 5, Sebastien Toutant (CAN), who both have been fairing very well at TTR events this season. Also, scheduled to compete is the fearless American rider, Sage Kostenburg, who successfully landed the world's first Cab double cork 1440 in competition last week at the Billabong Air & Style Innsbruck.

Before the main action kicks off on Saturday 12th, the crowds will witness the winners of the 2Star Nike 6.0 Stairset Battle Tour 2010/11 event series, put on one final 3Star rail battle grand finale. All the action can be watched live on Saturday beginning at 4:30pm GMT on freecaster.com and ttrworldtour.com.
