Aspen summer season opens on Memorial Day weekend
After an extremely brief off season, Aspen Mountain will kick off the summer season Saturday, May 24th, 2014 with skiing and riding on the upper portion of Aspen Mountain.
The Silver Queen Gondola and Ajax Express will spin and all terrain that ends at the Ajax Express will open, including black diamond terrain on Sunrise, Sunset and Blondie's including double diamond terrain on Summit.
Snow conditions are expected to be "classic early summer" and open terrain is subject to change.
Skiing & Snowboarding will require uploading and downloading on the Silver Queen Gondola, skiing & snowboarding to the bottom of the mountain will not be possible.
2013-14 Premier Passes are the only season passes that will be honored for Memorial Day Skiing. All other season passes will require an extension, including remaining days on Classic Passes.
