Together with Blue Tomato, event manager Pia Schroeter and former freeride World Champion and professional snowboarder Aline Bock will be organizing split & freeride camps in 2017 again.

 

Backcountry fans and powder junkies can look forward to five exciting weekends in Austria´s best freeriding resorts. Rustic mountain huts and cosy freeride-friendly accomodations will be the base camps of all expeditions into uncharted snowy terrains.

 

 

In quest of untracked powder runs and always attended by local mountain guides and professional snowboarders, every day´s mission will bring up new snowboarding, splitboarding and also freeskiing adventures in winterwonderland.

 

From basic avalanche trainings and risk management workshops up to crevasse rescue practise and rope techniques, no matter if you are an experienced freerider or backcountry rookie, everyone gets his or her money´s worth at the different levels of Choice Split & Freeride Camps.

 

Nothing better than learning from the pros! Aline Bock or Mario Kaeppeli will be on hand to help you pick your line during the day and give you insight into a professional snowboarder´s life by showing movies and presentations in the evenings.

 

 

First priority at all Choice Split & Freeride Camps has always been and will always be: to collect as many powder kilometres as possible. No matter, if you like to use snowboards or powder skis, all camps will have at least one or two days of skinning and touring up on the schedule.

 

From the Amplid or Volkl splitboard, to Volkl or Plum bindings and freeride boots from Deeluxe, full avalanche safety sets from Ortovox and original ABS backpacks, up to helmets and goggles from Alpina, all camps will be providing a free demo/test center for all participants.
