It will also feature detailed profiles of all British athletes across the disciplines as well as comprehensive, user-friendly information sections on all aspects of the National Governing Body. Dave Edwards, Chief Executive of British Ski & Snowboard said of the launch: “As our ‘shop window’, we are proud to unveil a new website which will help to raise the profile of British Ski & Snowboard squads and athletes. “The new design looks slick and the new functionality of the website means it can be used at home or on the go on mobile devices.
Probably the most important thing about the website is that we can showcase more videos and photographs, showing off our hugely visual sport.” The new website was designed and built by leading branding and digital communications agency Dusted, who have also worked with British Ski and Snowboard on their brand identity and long term digital strategy. Darren Holburn, Director and Co-Founder of Dusted said of the launch: “Audiences want to engage with the dynamic world of ski and snowboard via more diverse digital channels, so the ‘mobile’ nature of the new British Ski and Snowboard site provides an ideal platform to showcase the fantastic content athletes create anytime, anywhere, 24/7. “We are very proud indeed to be British Ski and Snowboard’s long-term strategic digital partner.
Off the back of our sports branding experience we have delivered a new identity and website, and will continue to work on the ongoing digital strategy to drive support, partnerships and ultimately play a part in athlete success.”
