Kicking-off with the first Splitboard Days in early January, the Choice Company will be starting into its 6th adventure season in 2019. While the day trips are the perfect choice for all snowboarders, who would like to try out splitboarding for a day, the camps will bring up five action-packed weekends with unique backcountry experiences for splitboarders of all riding levels. As every year, the entire action will go down in the best freeriding resorts of the Alps. Online registration is now open at:

No matter, if Splitboard Days or Splitboard Camps, all Choice Adventures will be happening in small groups and under the guidance of local mountain guides and former snowboard pros. Motivated snowboarders are welcome to join the adventures, if they can confirm a certain fitness and first experiences in the backcountry. The camps are divided into different riding levels between 1 and 4. To score the longest powder runs and best possible snow conditions, the splitboarders will take advantage of lifts at the Zillertal, Kuehtai, Stubai Glacier and Kaunertal Glacier camps and start hiking from the highest possible points to find untouched powder. 

Choice stands for a maximum fun of freeriding, minimal ascents and safety first,“ The Choice Company founder and Choice Adventures organizer, Pia Schroeter, explains. „A basic mountain understanding and safety workshops are fundamental at all our adventures.“ Former Freeride World Tour Champion and Choice co-founder Aline Bock is happy to join the camps, whenever her schedule allows. „I am always happy to meet so many like-minded people with Choice Adventures. Strangers become friends and everybody is sharing our passion for nature, snowboarding and splitboarding.“

Cosy mountain cabins or freeride-friendly apartments will be the base for all Choice Splitboard Camps. The free demo/ test center will be providing the latest Amplid and Jones Splitboards, Spark R&D and Karakoram bindings, Deeluxe Boots and Ortovox safety gear at every camp.
