First snow of the 2011/1 season in Colorado
Thursday 15th September saw the first snowfall of the anticipated new season
Its obviously months away before any of these resorts open, but seeing the first snow of a new season is always an exciting time.

Located in the Western side of the US in the Southern Rockies. Colorado is home to many a household name of resort including the likes of Vail, Breckenridge, Aspen. The resorts are high in altitude and very snowsure, and very straight forward to get to if you're flying into Denver.

Great value, will push your abilities. Can't stay on-mountain, but the extended season makes this a definite must-see!
Loveland
Loveland is a great place offering some sick riding if you want escape the crowds and chaos of summit county. Short lift lines and friendly staff will keep you coming back time and time again.
Telluride
