Katy Perry wows the crowd at Ischgl
The 25-year-old stayed for 4-days after the concert with boyfriend Russell Brand and went snowboarding.
Katy Perry wowed a 20,000 audience with a season-opening concert at the top Tirolean resort of Ischgl – then stayed on in the village with boyfriend Russell Brand to hit the slopes.
The 25-year-old pop star is a keen snowboarder and was eager to get out in the fresh snow falling heavily at the Austrian resort. She stayed, for four nights following the concert, at the four-star Brigitte Hotel with her parents Keith and Mary Hudson, younger brother David and elder sister Angela.
'I heard Ischgl was one of the best resorts in the Alps, and that's one of the reasons I wanted to do the concert here,' she said . 'I love boarding, although I wear lots of protection, wrist guards etc – and I don't do dangerous stuff, I leave that to my brother. He does backflips and everything.'

Katy said she was goofy – right foot forward on the board. Brand asked about hiring a ski instructor before venturing on to the slopes.
Katy, who included her big hits I Kissed a Girl and Hot 'n Cold in her set, mischievously said she wouldn't say no to joining the 'Gondola Club' – making love in a gondola, skiing's version of air travel's 'Mile High Club'.
'Sure, why not?' she said. 'I'm freaky.'

And she praised the amazing apres-ski scene in Ischgl, one of the Alps' liveliest resorts. 'You guys party like it's your job,' she said.
She follows a huge list of stars who have played at the season opening and closing concerts at Ischgl, including Sir Elton John, Kylie Minogue, Bob Dylan, Leona Lewis, Rihanna, Lionel Richie, Sting, Ronan Keating and Tina Turner.
