Winter is not over yet! As most winter resorts already prepare their operations for summer, the good times on the Kaunertal Glacier are just about to begin: When the Snowpark Kaunertal opens its gates for the legendary Spring Classics from April 12th until May 25th 2014, everyone who still can’t get enough of the winter, can step on the gas for a little longer. For the last six weeks before the summer break the park will be pimped to its maximum size. Besides the Pro Kickerline with two hits, various medium kickers and lots of rails and boxes all spring-shredders will be surprised with some creative specials. Funny events are lined up on all seven weekends in spring. Because of the warm spring temperatures and soft slush these events will motivate the shredders to their peak  performance in being creative and having fun. 

Weekend events will make spring a classic Besides a public video shooting (April 4th) with the Tyrolean Death Riders Crew where the most creative snowboarder has the chance to shred himself into a clip for Epic TV, it will get hot and “very british” in the Snowpark Kaunertal during the British Spring Break (April 26th – May 2nd) with the Whitelines Rail Jam (April 27th) and the event “MORE Methodical Madness” (April 29th). But as not only snowboarders should get their money’s worth, the two freeski 

magazines “Skiing” and “freeskiers.net” will attack the Snowpark Kaunertal from May 2nd to 4th to find out which magazine-crew has more steaze on two boards during the MagAttack. 

 

Further it goes with the HSM Champion Jibs (May 10th – 11th) – the hessian snowboard 

championships. Sound more serious than it is as the fun at the slopestyle- & race-contest will 

be most important. As from May 15th the Tirol Snowcard is not valid anymore, we have a special highlight - or better low price - for all those who want to live up winter till the very last day: After May 15th the lift ticket for one day on the Kaunertal Glacier will only cost 15 Euros for all spring 

shredders who owned a Tirol Snowcard this season. You’ll have to spend a long time 

searching for a better and cheaper way for a spring shred. If you want to save more money 

and even think about the environment, you should search for a fitting car pool or the like 

minded passengers on go-shred.com.

 

The best to check for a ride is May 17th as the “GAME of go-shred” will be played on Tyrol’s youngest glacier. The drivers of the first ten registered car pools on go-shred who really come to the glacier will get their lift tickets for free. 

 

For free is also the BBQ that you can enjoy on the first and last weekend of spring (April 12th 

& May 24th). To get the right spring atmosphere the shapers will not only fire up the grill but 

also turn up the stereo with cool sounds so that the park base in the Snowpark Kaunertal will 

be the place-to-be for the entire spring. Let the spring begin!
