Lake Louise opens for the 2013-14 ski season!
Snowboarders are finally able to ride Lake Louise which has officially opened for the 13/14 season.
The current terrain open includes 1,450 vertical feet, three runs and select park features, the Giant of Canadian Skiing, Lake Louise Ski Resort,
Recent snowstorms plus new and improved snow making facilities have bolstered conditions and allowed the scheduled opening to go ahead. The Glacier Chair will be running allowing access to three runs; Bald Eagle, Wiwaxy and Easy Street. A limited rail park will also be open on Wiwaxy for freestyle riders.

What’s New This Season?
The Snowboard Cross World Cup will come to Lake Louise for the first time. A new Lake Louise Ski Resort App will make it easier for guests to navigate around the mountain, meet friends and receive news updates. Plus there are significant improvements in on-mountain food and beverage services for better dining and après.
Skiers and boarders should note that Sunshine Village has postponed opening until mid. Stay tuned for updates.
