This opening over the October holidays comes before the official opening of the resort in December (29 November 2014 to 25 April 2015).

For the autumn opening there are two big events to take part in. ENJOY THE GLACIER from 25-26 October is a funky snowboarding event where, alongside kit testing from the main snowboard brands, there is a whole host of other activities. On the glacier and in the village you will find vintage VW combi vans filled with different offerings including tattoos from world famous artists, poker tables and barbers. There will also be a contest on the glacier as well as a mini ramp in the village and films and a concert on Saturday night.          

For skiers, there is the ROCK N’ ROLL SKI TESTS. Skiers can test the latest ski equipment for free on the glacier. For freeriders there is a chance to test freeride skis with qualified mountain guides and venture off piste on the glacier. There will also a chance to test backpacks, learn how to use safety equipment and a look at crevasse rescue. It is free, although sign up before the event is recommended. Going into the evening there are three rock bands playing across the resort.
