Proud to have pioneered ‘ski leading’ back in the 70s, Neilson is going back to its roots of high value, great service and innovative ideas with the “Neilson Mountain Experts” providing guests with a free guiding and coaching service each week. 

This first inclusive service of its kind and facilitated by fully qualified ski and snowboard instructors, the “Neilson Mountain Experts” is aimed at confident blue and red run skiers and boarders; offering guiding to Neilson guests over 18 whilst also offering professional coaching. This coaching will allow guests to get back in the swing of things since their last trip to the mountains, as well as improving their all-round ski or boarding ability. As well as this, those taking part in “Neilson Mountain Experts” sessions will be able to jump the queues at the lifts and as such, maximise their time on the mountain.

There will be no additional costs to Neilson Mountain Collection guests for this service and the sessions can simply be booked on the first day of the holiday.  As well as  helping guests improve their technique during coaching sessions, the Neilson Mountain Experts will be giving free guiding around the ski area offering tips on where to find the best snow and the best runs, whilst exploring pistes off the beaten track and pointing out the best places to eat on the mountain.

Sessions with the Neilson Mountain Experts will concentrate on different areas of technique, designed to help guests become an all-round better skier or boarder. Sessions include “Carve it up”, “Nail those turns”, “Back to black” and “Winter legs” designed to help improve technique. Neilson is also offering family guiding, suitable for ages 12 years and up within the “Neilson Mountain Experts” programme.

Neilson has announced further exciting additions to its Neilson Mountain Collection for the 2015/2016 season. The portfolio of hotels and chalets across Europe run by Neilson, exclusively for Neilson guests will welcome new resorts in France, Austria and Italy these season. These additions bring the number of properties exclusive to Neilson guests within the Mountain Collection up to 24, made up of seven hotels and 17 chalets across Andorra, France, Austria and Italy.
