The shows take place in the newly renovated Spence Eccles Olympic Freestyle Pool which boasts seven new water ramps and 1 million plus gallon training pool.

 

The Flying Ace All-Stars are composed of the world’s top Olympic-level skiers, snowboarders and acrobats who perform a half-hour choreographed acrobatic routine set to music. The performing athletes take off from water ramps with a ‘mountain like’ incline at speeds up to 35 miles per hour which launches them up to 60 feet in the air where they execute incredible flips, twists and turns into the Olympic Freestyle Pool. There can be as many as six athletes in the air at one time, demonstrating the various disciplines of skiing and snowboarding as seen in the Olympic Winter Games and Winter X-Games.

 

The family and visitor-friendly Freestyle Shows have become a weekend tradition in Park City. The one of a kind show features action-packed and human-powered performance from beginning to end followed by a chance to meet the athletes.

 

Tickets for the Freestyle Shows are available online  or on-site at the Utah Olympic Park. Tickets for adults are $12; youth (ages 3 to 12) and seniors (65+) are $7; children two and under are free. Show organizers recommend arriving an hour prior to the show start time for best parking and available seating. The shows take place every Saturday at 11:00 A.M. and Sunday at 1:00 P.M. through September 6.

 

Through the support of the following organizations, Utah Olympic Park has been able to continually host the Flying Ace All-Stars Freestyle Shows and showcase Utah’s Olympic Legacy to visitors and locals alike: USANA Health Sciences, Park City Chamber of Commerce and Convention & Visitors Bureau, Swire/Coca-Cola, Montage Deer Valley, Tanger Outlets of Park City, and Utah Media Group.

 

For those inspired by the athletics of the Flying Ace All-Stars, the Utah Olympic Park offers two introductory programs for ages seven and older that provide an opportunity to learn to water ramp and ski jump into the Olympic Freestyle Pool. Choose from the two-hour Freestyle Intro Session or three-hour Freestyle Signature Session, and experience the thrill of skiing into the pool with a dedicated coach. The Freestyle Intro Session offers a group environment, beginning instruction necessary to safely jump into the pool on the “Mini” Ramp. Freestyle Signature Sessions offer a smaller participant-to-coach ratio, dedicated trampoline time and the opportunity to jump on both the “Mini” and “Single” Ramps. Each session includes all equipment needed to ski jump into the pool. 

 

Built for the Salt Lake 2002 Olympic Winter Games, Utah Olympic Park is located 28 miles east of Salt Lake City in Park City, Utah. Today, Utah Olympic Park is a vibrant multi-use facility focused on developing and growing winter sport participation in the state of Utah. Designated an Official U.S. Olympic Training Site by the United States Olympic Committee, the venue provides year-round competition and training facilities for Olympic and development level athletes.
