Snowboxx Festival 2014 has officially SOLD OUT of all accommodation packages for 2014 – with only 20 wristband only packages remaining. Founder Rob Tominey comments: “To sell out for again in such a busy Festival Market is incredible! We really focused on getting the lineup bigger and putting on more events so it’s great to have so much support”

 

Headliners Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs (DJ set) and The 2 Bears, are joined by Ninja Tune and Radio 1 DJ / Producer Toddla T along with MC DRS (Soul:ution / Broke’n’English) who are replacing Jackmaster on this years line up. Toddla is best known for championing the newest sounds via both his Radio 1 show and high-energy club sets – seamlessly incorporating bass, dancehall and house styles, perfectly suiting the incredible  backdrop of Panoramix stage which is set 1,500 meters up in the middle of the mountains.

 

 

Also confirmed to be joining them during the week are Jaymo & Andy George – these lads have had an exceptional 2013 with their critically acclaimed Moda Black Album now in its second year (the debut won iTunes Dance Album of the year 2012), and a new concept series entitled Little Black Book having launched and constantly high quality EP release

Returning for his 2nd year is Arinsal regular and of Brit award infamy - Brandon Block will be hosting the closing party at Surf Nightclub.. Eagles for Hands makes his debut in the Pyranees, with a live set to close the Secret Stage after-party at La Massana’s Tabola Club – with recent remixes of Laura Mvula and FKA Twigs, and support coming from the likes of Eton Messy and Majestic Casual – 2014 looks set to see be a big one for this Brighton producer.

 

2014 isn’t just about the music – this year the Snowboxx team have worked hard to deliver a thrilling festival experience, as well as an incredible snow holiday. Monday (24th) at Snowboxx is Retro Day – bring your loudest one piece and hit our Panoramix Terrace après party which is hosted by Dos Clothing. On the decks for this multicolored retro bonanza include The Golden Boy, Armeria, Danglo & De$ignated all playing exclusive retro sets. Once the mountains shuts the day glow party continues down in La Massana at the Retro Rentals 80’s Bar which will be hosting air guitar battles, free flowing ski shots and the ultimate in classic 80s tunes – and its’s open all week!

 

The Thursday is ‘Wild’ themed, and Snowboxx have teamed up with Kigu – makers of the ultimate animal onesies. Kigu will be sponsoring the Secret Stage – a magical one off stage built just outside of the town of La Massana. 

 

As well as extra stages Snowboxx 2014 has delivered a host of extra festival features: Free Mountain Yoga Classes, which will be happening throughout the week on both the Arinsal and Pal Terraces will help people to find their inner zen. For those looking to prepare / recover from a day on the slopes, the mixture of mountain air and specially tailored sports yoga will be the perfect way to keep customers going at the festival.

 

Snowboxx Karaoke Cabins - Sing up, Ski down - Karaoke Cabins does what it says on the tin. It doesn't matter if you've got the pipes of Adele, or the warble of Wagner - for one week only, select gondolas in Vallnord will be transformed into your own private karaoke booth!

 

The Bier & Likor beer hall in association with Jungfrau is the ultimate après bar. Traditional German beer hall stylings, West London’s Ping hosting table tennis tournaments and Snowboxx resident brass band ‘Twisted Tubes’ will have customers stomping on the tables until the early hours.
