Swiss dominate the 2010 Nendaz Freeride
Sunday saw enjoyed excellent conditions for the 4th Nendaz Freeride. Some of the best international riders entertained the 500 spectators present at the Red Bull village at the foot of Mont-Gond.
Beautiful weather conditions as well as the quality of the snow allowed the riders to execute amazing figures such as back-flips, font-flips and 360 degrees rotation
In the snowboard men category, the Swiss Julien Falco has pulled out all the stops and imposes himself with an original run on unexplored stretches of the Mont-Gond slope. Gilles Sandoz takes the second place with a smooth and fluid run and with three cliff drops while the experienced rider José Carron wins the third place.
As for the female category, the Norwegian Vivian Aasen finishes first and walked away with her ticket for the Nissan Verbier Xtreme.
