Just like in previous years the opening of the Wit Schanzen season will take place in the Moreboards  Stubai Zoo on November 15th 2014. In the popular slopestyle contest on the Stubai Glacier riders will battle for 1.000 € prize money and cool give-aways from all sponsors in the disciplines snowboard and freeski. After shredding together and pushing each other to record performances the riders can look forward too a nice BBQ, the Red Bull chill area and cool sounds to complement the easy atmosphere of this contest.

The Wir Schanzen contests will have the following categories Men, Women, Rookies U15 (year 2000, 2001, 2002) and – already for the fourth year in a row – Kids U12 (year 2003 and younger). Especially for all young riders a special Kids Line will be shaped and prepared at all events. To promote and push young talents even more, the Wir Schanzen will be working with supported the “Snowboard Verband Deutschland” (SVD) and the “Deutscher Skiverbund” (DSV).

The registration for the Stubai Jam will be open on-site on the day of the contest. The entry fee will be 10 € and the days lift ticket for all riders will be available at a special rate.

New for this winter: The Stubai Jam will be also hold a “Regional Event” of the WST (World Snowboard Tour).

So all riders can both collect points for the Wir Schanzen ranking as well as valuable points for these world wide contest tours.So, a lot new and classical marks will make up the season start at the Stubai Glacier. The Wir Schanzen crew is already looking forward to the Stubai Jam and can hardly wait for riders between 5 and 35 years to stand together at the starting gate and listen to: “Drop in into the 11th Wir Schanzen season!”
