Stubai Prime Park Sessions Get Underway For 2014
On October 28th last week, the 2014 edition of the Stubai Prime Park Sessions started with perfect conditions and beautiful sunshine on top of the Stubai Glacier, Austria.
This year again, many of the world’s best snowboarders and freeskiers gathered to get ready for the upcoming season and ride the excellent snowpark. The most outstanding attribute of the Stubai Prime Park Sessions is the uncompromisingly high quality of the snowpark setup. No efforts were spared and compared to the previous
year it was even possible to further expand the Prime Park for 2014. The park awaits the riders with the already familiar Pro Line from the Moreboards Stubai Zoo snowpark, which is open to all riders without any restrictions for this year.
Adding to this, there is a completely new line, designed specifically to meet the needs of the Prime Park Sessions athletes. This line consists of three additional jumps. The first kicker combines the shape of a classic Slopestyle jump with the impressive proportions of a film shoot kicker and enables spectacular tricks while being very safe to ride. The two following jumps focus completely on progression. Their “step over” shape ensures minimum impact at significant airtime and thus allows safe practice conditions for all athletes.
Leading snowboarders like Roope Tonteri (FIN), Staale Sandbech (NOR), Sebbe De Buck
(BEL) as well as Sina Candrian (SUI) and Anna Gasser (AUT) were not only showing off many of their stylish tricks, but could also work successfully on new ones.
You can follow them daily on www.primeparksessions.com.
In effect, the 2014 Prime Park together with the Moreboards Stubai Zoo, offers one of the world’s best pre-season terrain parks for all riding levels.
The package of the Prime Park Sessions is further completed with a supplemental choice of off-snow activities and the ideally located accommodation of the athletes in Neustift in the Stubai Valley.
