The DC Happy Hitster Hangout event will take place on April 12th and 13th 2014. Kicking things off in style with a full park setup which will see the park extended to its maximum size.

The Happy Hitster Hangout will see riders judged on their overall creativity with a park setup that will allow numerous takeoffs and endless opportunities to vary their runs. The snowboarder who stands out most and who can convince the judges will be in with a shout of winning a prize fund of 1.500 euros.

The glacier snow park will also feature the pro-kicker line that draw worldwide attention during the Stubai Prime Park Sessions in the fall of 2013. But it is not only a park for pros as the number of obstacles in the easy and medium line will be increased to encourage riders of all levels. At an altitude of just over 3.000 meters above sea level snow is pretty much guaranteed on the Stubai Glacier till middle of June. So the sun is likely to be shining all day and will not only make the landings soft for the riders who want to learn new tricks, but it also invites you to relax and soak up some warm sunbeams.

So you can either compute or just relax in one of the deck chairs in the park with free drinks and barbecue. In addition to that, DC Shoes will provide everyone with the newest snowboard hardware to test. And even when the lifts are closing, there is no end in sight: On Saturday, April 12th 2014 it’s going to be a straight line from the gondola to the Afterparty in the Dorfpub in Neustift.
