VIdeotron Impressive Big Air Structure Takes Shape
Mark your calendars for March 22–25, because this year’s Jamboree presented by Vidéotron features nothing less than the FIS Snowboard World Cup Finals presented by Mazda and the FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup Finals right here in Quebec City!
Work began back in December to build the impressive Big Air ramp structure downtown at L’Îlôt Fleurie and everything is well on track to be ready ahead of the big day. The contest is attracting more than a hundred of the world’s top skiers and snowboarders, including plenty of familar names from the PyeongChang Olympics.
This year’s big event wraps up the 2017-2018 World Cup season on Canadian snow, and the overall winners get to take home a coveted Crystal Globe.Several recent Olympic medallists have already confirmed their attendance, including Max Parrot (CAN), Laurie Blouin (CAN), Anna Gasser (AUT), Jamie Anderson (USA) and Red Gerard (USA)!
