Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY tour schedule 2019/2020
With this upcoming winter season, the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Blue Tomato and Ride Snowboards will be kicking into its 7th round.
Organized by the Ästhetker crew, the popular snowboard amateur series will once again take over at Zillertal´s best snow parks with four action-packed weekends. The registration for the first event, that will be ringing in the contest season on December 21st and 22nd 2019 at Hochzillertal, will open online on December 1st, 2019 on www.valleyralley.at.
Within six years, the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY hosted by Blue Tomato and Ride Snowboards has grown into one of the biggest grassroots events of the European snowboarding scene. „With the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY we are presenting a step stone for young talents into professional snowboarding,“ Ästhetiker prÄsident and snowboarding legend Steve Gruber explains. „With the combination of contest and coaching, we´re aiming to promote the idea of sharing the stoke of snowboarding, while athletes find themselves in best conditions to push their personal levels to higher progression.“
Boardsports fans can look forward to four action-packed weekends in the Zillertal. At all events, Ride Snowboards will offer the latest snowboards and bindings for free demo-testing. And while the coaching day stands for freebie freestyle sessions with snowboard pros, Ride Snowboards will hand out prizes to everyone for showing off their best flexibility at the Limbo RIDE fun contest.
Adrenaline levels will be rising on the contest day, when riders from all nations will be raising the bar to impress judges and spectators along the slopestyle course. The best performances will be rewarded with loads of medals, prizes and prize money. And on top of all this, the new event host Blue Tomato and the new outerwear partner Horsefeathers Clothing will be scouting at all events for up-and-coming talents to reward with professional sponsoring contracts. Horsefeathers will also provide a brand-new outerwear combo for the Horsefeathers best trick winner at every tour stop.
Every contest result will accumulate points for the Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY overall ranking. The overall Royal Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY 2020 winners will be rewarded at the fourth and final stage on Hintertux Glacier. Riders who are participating in the tour, will also be collecting points on the International World Snowboard Point List (WSPL). The points from the first three VÄLLEY RÄLLEY events are further counting for the n.ASA (New Austrian Snowboard Association) Austriacups. With the results from the first three stages, the best man, woman and rookies qualify for the Austrian Masters Slopestyle Finals. The rookies are collecting points in the World Rookie Ranking and can qualify for the World Rookie Finals. More info at http://www.powdern.com
