A very good resort for powder hounds and freeriders. But this is not a place for the total novice nor for those individuals looking for a big loaded resort. If you are looking for a laid-back atmosphere and some wide open and challenging terrain, check out Grand Targhee. It is just over the pass from Jackson Hole, so it would be a less expensive alternate to J-hole for a day or two.

Glenshee does have the biggest surface area of all the Scottish resorts but the terrain is often compromised by weather and limited cover, but if the snow is in the East and the sun is out, Glenshee does have some varied terrain on offer

Piancavallo is a tiny purpose built resort and not unsightly. This is a cool place that will offer a day or twos relaxed riding.

Major riding for all styles and all levels, especially backcountry and amazing park and pipes.But take note: lift queues can be very long, especially at Easter and Christmas. Avoid major holidays if an option and Sundays are quieter than Saturdays, especially on Blackcomb. Great summer riding on Blackcomb Glacier.
