Mount Snow-Haystack

Freeriders coming here for the first time will find that the slopes on Mount Snow will offer challenging and difficult terrain. Advanced freeriders should head up to North Face with its series of blacks and double blacks which will test you with a mixture of bumps and groomed terrain. On Haystack, The Witches double blacks offer some interesting riding, but they're quite short.
Freestylers are best checking out the slopes on Mount Snow, where youll find a good series of well constructed man-made hits in the shape of four parks, at Carinthia you have Inferno for the air heads, and El Diablo for the intermediate, Un Blanco Gulch off Canyon trail is for the beginner while Grommet located on Beaver Hill is for the first timer in a park. Also at the base of Carinthia, The Gut Pipe is consistently rated as one of the top 10 pipes in the country, its 460-feet long with 18-foot walls. All parks are designed by Ken Gaitor once of Brighton Utah. Also of interest is the Beartrap area which blast music all day. Boarders wanting to lay down some turns at speed can do so with ease on Snowdance, one of the blues from the Summit Cafe. The North Face area on Mount Snow is good for fast full on steep descents Beginners tend to stay on Mount Snow, where there is a good layout of easy trails. Haystack has a complete beginner-only area. Ride On Snowboard School offers a Guaranteed Learn to Ride session, at $50 all-in.
