Taking place on Saturday 27 June, the English Indoor Ski and Snowboard Cross Championships will see up to 120 athletes, including many kids, battle it out to win their age category, and for those in the ‘Open’ category, try and become the overall English Ski or Snowboard Cross Champion.

 

Ski and Snowboard Cross is one of the most exciting disciplines both for riders and spectators, as athletes battle it out on a high octane course compromising of jumps, banked corners and rollers. As well as skiers and snowboarders entering their first Ski or Snowboard Cross contest, the line-up is expected to include several of Snowsport England’s Ski and Snowboard Cross athletes.

 

The full day event will see timed individual seeding runs in the morning across four categories – female snowboard, female ski, male snowboard and male ski. All riders will have two timed runs, with the best run being used for seeding. The fastest 16 athletes in each age category will progress to the knockout rounds, which will then determine the age category winners as the riders go head to head.

 

Entry is now open online and costs £35 with a £10 bib deposit. For riders who are not registered with a Home Nation (Snowsport England/Snowsport Scotland/Snowsport Wales) or a member of an affiliated club can pay an extra £5 on the day to compete. Visit here to enter:
