Flumserberg opens for the season
One of the closest resorts to Zurich, Flumserberg, opened at the weekend with 7 out of the main 10 lifts running and conditions pretty decent.
Blue sky, some fresh powder and a pretty good start of the season for Flumserberg in Switzerland which opened on Saturday 27th November.
7 of the main 10 lifts were running and most of the intermediate terrain was open, but none of the steeper stuff, and the terrain park will be a while off yet.

There was a good 20cm fresh on the small stashes off-piste, but very little under that in parts. There was a bit of snow all the way down to Unterterzen it wasn't possible to ride down to the first gondola.

The resort will now close until Wednesday and gradually open more terrain when conditions allow, and tickets discounted by 20% (usually 53CHF)
