Nine Queens Day 3
Crowds of people gathered to watch as the third day rolled in at the Suzuki Nine Queens presented by O’Neill, at Mottolino Fun Mountain, Livigno.
The girls were stepping it up making the most of the great conditions and in preparation for the big air contest!
Freeskier Keri Herman (USA) stomped a few dope switch 540s and Slovakian Zuzana Stromkova showed off her rodeo 720s, stomping it multiple times. Anais Caradeux (FRA) dropped some jaws as the only girl so far to land the huge transfer from the take-off in the middle of the pipe, to the landing of the left jump – she even attempted a 360 over the transfer but unfortunately was unable to put the landing gear down.

If you are in the vicinity of Livigno, come over to watch the ridiculously huge “Il Castello” in person, seeing it live will put the photos in context. The contest will be a jam session format, with 5 freeskiers and 5 snowboarders making it through to the final. The judging will focus on innovative tricks and style, but the main priority is for all the Queens to have fun!
