Snozone And Xscape Team Up For Their First Sno Xpo
Ahead of the 2014/15 season, Snozone and Xscape have teamed up to launch the UK's first ski and snowboard shows in Buckinghamshire and Yorkshire. With over 900,000 Brits expected to hit the slopes on ski and snowboard holidays this season, they are expecting a significant turnout for the event.
Supporting the Sno Xpo at Castleford on Saturday 27th September will be Snozone Sponsored Rider and Sochi Olympian 18 year old Katie Summerhayes, who will be demonstrating her skills on the slopes from 11am along her younger sister Molly Summerhayes – together they are two of the top female skiers in Britain at the moment.
Supporting the Sno Xpo at Milton Keynes on Saturday 27th September will be six of Snozone's young and talented sponsored riders: Sarah Glasgow, 13, race ski; Jake Binnee, 14, freestyle board; Will Gilmore, 11, freestyle board; Skyla Baily, 14, boarder cross, Mason Ferebee, 14, freestyle ski, Jade Walsh, 12, freestyle board and Snozone veteran Gary Walsh, 44, who has been freestyling at Snozone since its doors first opened. During the Xpo visitors can enjoy guaranteed snow including family-fun sledging and all day slope passes with freestyle features and coaching A limited number of private lessons will also be available Snozone Castleford will be hosting a Bavarian themed party in the Snobar in the evening, and Snozone Milton Keynes will be putting on a beat-the-pro slalom style course. Within Xscape, winter season equipment and apparel will be showcased along with a German market, live entertainment and performers.

Not content with nurturing Winter Olympic hopefuls, Snozone is now searching for Milton Keynes' performing artists too. Its monthly 'Spotlight' kicks off in the Snobar on Sunday 28th Septemberbetween 7pm – 11pm. Talented musicians and performing artists (e.g. comedians and dance troops) from Milton Keynes and the surrounding counties are encouraged to attend the first event, which will be scouted, with one lucky hopeful (throughout the 6 month season) securing a recording package worth £5k. Spotlight events are open to ages 14+.
Oktoberfest marks the launch of Snozone's winter season of celebrations. OnSaturday 4th October there'll be live musicfrom 'Die Dorf fest Kappelle' in the Snolounge (FREE entry), plus Bavarian schnitzels, alpine beverages and local ales all on offer. With a specially designed freestyle park and an exhilarating slalom run, take advantage of all-day slope passes with coaches on hand to help you get the most out your day.
The Snofresh Student Night returns to Snozone on Wednesday 1st October, with a Bavarian theme, for students to ride the park features while listening to great music. Also on Wednesday 15th October, 7pm – 11pm,
