TALENT SPOTTING WITH AIMEE FULLER AT CHILL FACTORE
ASPIRING SKI AND SNOWBOARDERS SHOWCASE TALENT TO TEAM GB ATHLETE AIMEE FULLER AT CHILL FACTORE.
Winter Olympian, Aimee Fuller, visited Manchester-based snow destination, Chill Factore on Thursday 22nd June, to meet up with local talent and to celebrate the official reopening of freestyle Ramp Nights following a fresh snow fall.
The World Snowboard Guide headed along to Chill Factore to catch up with Aimee and hear all about the event, last seasons achievements, riding for Team GB and her plans for the the future.
On the night Team GB athlete Aimee, who was a semi-finalist in the Slopestyle event in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, was joined by Chill Factore’s sponsored athletes who showcased their skills in the freestyle park and received top tips and advice on improving their technique from Aimee.
Snowboarding since the age of three, Aimee was the first female snowboarder to land a double backflip in competition and this year came first in the British Championships in both the Slopestyle and Big Air categories.
25-year old Aimee, says:“It was awesome to meet Chill Factore’s sponsored riders and witness the next generation of snow sport athletes in action. These kids are crazy talented and I’m excited to see their careers progress.”
As well as meeting the latest generation of rider Aimee also spent time with our competition winner Jamie Hopper offering him a range of tips and trips to help with his riding.

The event follows a fresh snow fall on the slopes of Chill Factore last month, which saw 900 tonnes of real snow coat the 180m slope.
