Jungfrau Region
Introduction
Three hours south of Zurich is the popular region of Jungfrau, is home to three rather impressive resorts offering almost two hundred miles of marked piste and miles of good off-piste.

Grindelwald, Wengen and Murren, which are all closely linked by an impressive array of funicular trains, cable cars and other lifts, are reached at first via the sprawling town of Interlaken. These three ridable areas are similar in character and sit under the mighty Eiger.

All three offer some amazing snowboard terrain, particularly off-piste. One thing that is apparent here is the area's attitude towards the environment, which means a lot of the wooded sections are out of bounds.
Wengen is the most well known and largest of the three areas, Grindelwald offers some good intermediate riding and a decent park, and Murren has the best freeriding.
